Academy Shutting Down
Team [Rx2] Retaliation x 2 has decided to shut down this academy since has become very inactive. This website will be deleted soon, and we will move all qualified students to the actual team. To find out who is qualified, the team will send one person to duel all active members and judge if you can be on the team. This person is still being determined, so come back later for more information about this. Right now, the forums are being locked down, and all unnecessary features are removed. I have kept the chat up so students can talk about this to each other.

The team has decide who the tester will be. His username on Dueling Network is KM888. Information on how you will be tested will be posted as soon as it is confirmed.

Good day, people of the Academy.

Additional Information from eqx: To be tested for the team by KM888, just log on to Dueling Network, check if he's online and request to be tested. It is your responsibility to do this if you want to join the team. You have until the end of May 31 to be ask for testing. After that, the academy will be shut down, and this whole website will be deleted. If you have any questions, you can PM me here (but only PM; I don't look at the chat and I'm not going to be on DN because of schoolwork) and I'll help.

DUELING GAUNTLET:
Good day, people of the Academy.
As you might know (or maybe not), you now have the chance to join the Team Rx2 (Retaliation x2).
Before we can add you though, you have to prove you're worthy enough to be in the team. How is this done?
You'll duel 1 of our members. Don't worry, these duels aren't to see if you'll win or lose!
NO, it's your skill that will be tested.
Here are the Rules:
- YOU pick 1 Deck (so make sure to pick a good one).
- YOU will duel 3 different decks of 'mine' in the all-famous 'Duel Gauntlet'.
* Deck changing in between 2 different duels is NOT allowed !!!
* Whether or not siding will be allowed, depends of your previous duels. When you'll duel very good, a duel WITH siding will be made to test more of your skill.
* You'll get information about the deck you'll be playing just before you'll duel the deck. This will be done so you can anticipate a bit more. (This is a great help. If you can't anticipate a deck-type, then your chances will get a little smaller to be allowed in the team.) - You'll get scores on different points during the duels. Below is a list with important factors. 1 is the most important, 8 the least important.
1. Your playing-style.
--> The way you play is very important. It's a very broad theme, but it's still the best way to spot a good duelist.
2. Countermoves you make.
--> The opponent seems to have a great field. Can you come back from it, or will you just be swallowed whole.
3. Deck-anticipation.
--> Your opponent plays Dark World, though you are smart enough to set a Morphing Jar.
4. Deckbuild.
--> If you're able to make your own Deckbuilds, that's good. Making a good Deck though, is another matter.
5. Seeing the finishing move.
--> You could've finished off your opponent, but failed to see how.
6. Use of Cards.
--> Using 'Effect Veiler' against a Junk Synchron that has no targets in the grave wouldn't be a great move.
7. Originality.
--> If you use some original cards in a Deck (or just an original Deck), and still manage to play a good Duel, then it's always a plus.
8. Behavior.
--> A good behavior during the duels are preferable. Be nice, and if you have a discussion, try to solve it at a mature way. - At the end you'll be given a point by me. (When another Captain/Co-Captain is Spectating the match, they can also give a point, or just give comments that could help me to pick a grade.)
